Shigeru Miyamoto

Miyamoto joined Nintendo in 1977 and designed the arcade game Donkey Kong in 1981, followed by Super Mario Bros. in 1985 and The Legend of Zelda series. He was general manager of Nintendo EAD from 1984 to 2015 and senior managing director from 2002 to 2015. Since 2015 he has served as a Fellow of Nintendo.
