Hironobu Sakaguchi

Sakaguchi worked at Square from 1983 to 2003 and created the original Final Fantasy in 1987, directing the first five entries. He directed the 2001 film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. In 2004 he founded the studio Mistwalker, where he serves as CEO.
