Shinji Mikami

Mikami joined Capcom in 1990 and directed the original Resident Evil (1996), followed by Resident Evil 4 (2005), whose over-the-shoulder camera influenced third-person shooters. He later worked with Clover Studio and PlatinumGames, directing Vanquish (2010). He founded Tango Gameworks in 2010, left it in 2023, and has since led the studio Unbound.
