Satoshi Tajiri

Tajiri turned his self-published fanzine Game Freak into a game development company in 1989, co-founding it with Ken Sugimori. He conceived and directed Pokémon Red and Green, released in 1996 after six years of development. From Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire onward he has served as executive producer of the series.
