Overview

A 3D fighting game released by Sega in arcades in 1993 and ported to the Sega Saturn as a launch title in 1994. Its fighters are rendered entirely in polygons. It was directed by Yu Suzuki of Sega AM2.

The original Saturn version sold 630,000 units in Japan, and together with Virtua Fighter Remix exceeded 1 million copies (English Wikipedia).
