Career
Naka joined Sega in 1984 as a programmer and co-created Sonic the Hedgehog in 1991. He led Sonic Team from its official formation in 1994 until 2006, overseeing titles such as Nights into Dreams and Phantasy Star Online. He left Sega in 2006 to found Prope and worked at Square Enix from 2018 to 2021.
